Project Info
Werk Ethic is an Intro-spective look at 31.25 years of Werner Design Werks. Everything from the bottom drawer, top shelf, behind the door, inside the brains. It’s an unapologetic look at the how, the what, and why it matters. The exhibition took place at the Concordia University campus in Saint Paul as a part of the Leaders of Design series and was on display for about a month. Scroll to the bottom to see a walkthrough video of the entire gallery.

I had the privilege of designing all of the branding and promotional pieces for the exhibition. Which included a mailed postcard, a custom printed and folded invitation/poster, social post, stories, posters & exhibition graphics & banners.

The event branding embraces both the past, present & future of Werner Design Werks. I paired original WDW graphics with new ones, analog techniques, with modern digital processes. Along with WDWisms, inside jokes, and random little artifacts that have been with WDW since 1991.

In addition to the event branding, I was very much involved with the show planning and exhibition design which featured at least 50 different projects, and what we called the "Werk Room," a floor to ceiling installation of unselected, in process and behind the scenes work from Werner Design Werks.
