In the beginning of 2019 the world we knew changed as Covid quickly became a global pandemic. During that same time many new designers and students were entering the professional world. Due to most of us working from home and in-person events being canceled, Werner Design Werks with the help of our professional network realized we could lend a hand and a little bit of our time to ensure new designers and students were better prepared to share their work and get a job.

 

Out Of Office Reviews was an virtual portfolio review that reached professionals & students across the globe. Unlike the traditional in-person portfolio reviews, this online event was free, connected people globally instead of just regionally, and featured professional designers from internationally renowned agencies, in-house corporations, and single person studios, all from the safety of our homes. 158 creative professionals, 284 students, 466 individual portfolio reviews. We did it. Together!
