Beauty for Better puts personal care in the hands of those who need it. We joined forces with a WDW beauty industry client to create Beauty for Better: An initiative to stock food shelves in the Virginia/Washington D.C. area with personal care kits for everyday life.
It’s easy to focus on the superficial aspect of the beauty industry. But beauty goes beyond the facade. It’s about confidence, health and well-being, taking care of body and mind. With the onset of a global pandemic, many were faced with insecurity of basic needs, forced to sacrifice comfort and confidence. Beauty for Better is a collaborative of brands, big and small, contributing products for personal care kits to make everyday life just a little easier, a little bit better.
We developed a functional system that took advantage of off-the-shelf, low cost packaging components: A label, packing tape and paper bags. These kits needed to be affordable, gender neutral, family friendly, flexible, easy to produce, and have the ability to grow and expand. The design and system is simple, friendly and energetic, highlighting the straightforward objective: Beauty for Better.
