Think of a nice suit with fresh sneakers. or a groovy cocktail dress. cool colors & patterns? even better. We know you guys can do better than cargo shorts a polo tee, and flip flops. let's see it (please & thank you.)

Can I bring my kids?

nope. sorry, this wedding will be adults only. We love that you love your kiddos, but take a night off!

Unless you have been given special permission from amanda or Ian personally.

can I call you to rsvp?

If this internet/online rsvp ain't your thing. yes, you can give amanda or Ian a phone call or text to rsvp.
just an fyi, The rsvp form online helps us better track all of your names and info.

I didn't receive an invite in the mail.

Then how did you find this website!? If you didn't receive your invite in the mail but you know you are on the guest list please rsvp using the link above.

If you actually weren't invited, which is why you didn't receive an invite. but you still found this website, well then I guess that will be awkward for everyone!

can i bring the homies?!

your invitation is only for those who it was addressed to. If you get a "plus 1", then your invite will have a circle sticker indicating that you get a "plus 1". Please list your name and the name of the person coming with you in the online RSVP form.

If your invite was addressed inaccurately and we forgot about your significant other (sorry) then list them in the RSVP. If you didn't get a sticker on your invite indicating a "plus 1" then we are sorry, we can only have so many people attend.

should I bring a gift?

If you feel so inclined, we are more than happy to accept a monetary gift. We have been in the process of

renovating our home for many years now and we love the idea of knowing that a door knob was paid for by uncle greg, or those stair treads are because of aunt huyen. We are also saving to travel in the future.

monetary gifts will be accepted in the form of cash, check, or gift card to menards, lowes, home depot, amazon. Please be sure to include your name with the gift so we can send you a thank you! We are also happy to accept funds through venmo. @Ian-Kolstad

Amanda and Ian are not accepting traditional physical gifts & we are not registered anywhere.

Do I need to bring money?

having a card or some cash on hand won't hurt. We plan to have open bar for a majority of the wedding. however, once we reach our bar minimum, the bar will no longer be free to guest. Drink Responbily!

I can't come. Should i let you know?

yes please! click on the rsvp above and it will give you the option to say you are are not coming.

Can i bring my own booze?

Absolutely not, the venue has a strict zero tolerance policy on bringing your own booze, drugs, whatever else.
If you're caught with outside alcohol, we will face a huge fine/penalty. Please respect this rule for our sake.

Can I wear a hat?

I (ian) will probably be wearing a hat. So the more the merrier!

Should I start drama?

It would be greatly appreciated if you DID NOT. Lets keep it fun, relaxed and safe. Tears of joy are welcomed. Please & thank you!
